Yorkshire is home to the superb Dalby Forest, England's largest purpose-built mountain bike trail centre suitable for beginner cyclists through to advanced mountain bikers.
If you like purpose-built trails then you will also like the trails at Guisborough Woods, Wharncliffe Woods and Stainburn Forest.
If you prefer more natural MTB trails then both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are prime mountain biking country. There are over 1,600 km of bridleways, byways and green lanes to explore, all in remote, unspoilt countryside.
