CoiledPete06 replied... on 13 August 2008

Yeah they're on the heavy side, but it can't half take a beating - A lot more than me anyway (I say nursing my broken collar bone)

Coilers are damn cool..
Saint cranks kick ass too..

I fancied gettin a coiler right until I picked one up!
How's about an E-13 bashring and some white 66's or All Mountain SL's (07) to go with the pedals and saddle??
U could even scour the earth for a white diabolus stem.. Bling!!
(just buy an nc-17 one like I did..it's on the sub zero pic..)

White is the new black and all that..

U do right stickin with single crown forks.. U can turn much tighter corners.. good for north shore stuff..

Keep on shreddin!

CoiledPete06 replied... on 28 May 2008

Cheers for the comments & vote. Hopefully my saving will start bearing the fruit of my labours this year. The upgrades are just beginning. I just can't wait.

NICE COILER M8
LOSE THE FORKS AND GO FOR A SET OF TRIPLE CLAMP
I PUT A SET OF 888 ON MY COILER IT FELT SO MUCH BETTER
STILL A NICE BIKE
RATE MINE PLEASE

CoiledPete06 replied... on 27 May 2008

Cheers for the comment - But triple clamps on a coiler... I like the fact that I can still ride this up hill without much bother. There are plenty of good 6-7" forks out there which is what I'm after.

Sweet looking bike, loving the white pedals. What size rear shock is that, looks massive?

CoiledPete06 replied... on 24 April 2008

6" (Fox Vanilla R) And actually is not bad at all & the pro-pedal works a treat. Cheers

im liking everything (apart from the mud gard) still a sweet ride dude , what do you use it for?

CoiledPete06 replied... on 24 April 2008

Ok everyone, imagine it without reflectors & mud guards. They've been taken off. And I said I'd never crumble to peer pressure. Just need to update the picture.
Used for freeride, XC and it even makes comuting to and from work a pleasure. Cheers

another ten for your kona how does it ride very nice bike

CoiledPete06 replied... on 18 April 2008

Now I've got the saints & dmr's on noticed a great improvement from a ride that was already pretty damn good. Chain kept coming off with the 3 rings and kept slipping off pedals. Now it's so much better. Cheers for the vote.

nice bike but lose the front mudguard lol

CoiledPete06 replied... on 16 April 2008

Will do - Either when my local trails dry up from being a mud bath, or I can afford some decent glasses. It's no fun getting mud in the eye when you're charging down hill and having to look out for obstacles.

Yeah. Although I thought I said that last year but it never came - Definitely needed it last weekend though. Was a tad muddy after the snow.
