Just fitted some Slacker dropouts from Powell Precision (company of a guy from Intense), which slacken the head angle by 1 degree, drop the BB by half an inch, and extend the wheelbase by 1/4". Small differences but they're supposed to make a huge difference.

These coils have been faultless. I love the fact that with the 1.5" steerer they're as stiff as triple crowns and you can get round super tight switchbacks with a bit less hassle.

It is an awesome UK DH bike, holds its own in the Alps too - the limitation is definitely the rider rather than the bike! I actually paid for the valve caps - a bit naff but I couldn't resist a bit of pointless bling. Should really ditch them and the presta to schraeder valve adaptors and just stick some plastic presta valve caps on if I was being a real weight saving purist!!!!! Might only save a couple of grams but it is rotating unsuspended weight after all!!!! Or maybe I could just eat a few less pies and make 1000 times more difference!

Because it's mine and is the best bike I've ever ridden. Super plush suspension and pedals reasonably well for an 8" travel bike. Looks even better in real life. Only things I'm thinking about changing are a lighter chain device and possibly changing the 1.5" steerer and crown assembly for a 1.125" one so that I can use some K-19 headset cups to slacken the head angle, lower the bottom bracket and extend the wheelbase - would make it more downhill specific as am doing more DH and less north shore type stuff these days.

Prefer the looks of these to the new ones, look's well tough, but I do prefer the way the new one rides! Still a 10 though mate, most bikes with the Intense name are!
