Viking Challenge 2022

The Viking Challenge is a friendly and fun off road event, which raises thousands of pounds for charity in the process.  Take a look around and join us on Sunday 2nd October for Viking Challenge 2022.

1. 1,000+ riders take part, from all over the country
2. £500,000+ raised for Redmile school and charity partners since it began in 1995
3. 200+ volunteers to run and man the event on the day
4. 5,000 cakes, bananas and chocolate bars served to keep cyclists fuelled up on the way round

One of the UK’s largest amateur off road cycle events.  Take in the fabulous Vale of Belvoir countryside, where riders have access to a route not usually accessible to the general public.

The event is open to everyone, young and old, teams and individuals, both serious and fun cyclists – and Vikings!  The combination of the serious physical challenge with our warm hospitality has proven to be a winning formula; with riders and volunteers coming back year after year.  Not to forget all the cake and food you get on your way round and at the end, included as part of your ticket – we like to keep our riders well ‘refreshed’.
