Moelfre Downhill Mountain Bike Track

Located near Oswestry in Wales, Moelfre Hall features a private 2.3km Black-graded downhill track known for its severe technical challenge. This exclusive facility requires advance booking and is not open for public access.

Downhill Track Features

The Moelfre Downhill Track combines fast sections with technical tight turns, featuring notable drops and challenging off-camber segments. A 4X (four-cross) track is situated at the hill's base. Due to its professional-grade design, this venue frequently hosts British Downhill Series events.

Access Information

Access to the track requires pre-arrangement through either the property owner or MTB Uplifts service. This is strictly a pre-booked facility and does not accommodate walk-up riders.

Directions

Moelfre is approximately 10 miles West of Oswestry. Head out on the B4580 towards Llansilin, passing through the small village of Rhydycroesau. At Llansilin turn right an dpass the Land Rover garage. Continue for another mile then at the bottom of the dip again turn right. After approximately 1 mile turn right at the entrance of the farm and proceed up the fire road.
