Drumtochty Forest Mountain Bike Trails

Drumtochty Forest Mountain Bike Trails are located near the village of Auchenblae and offers dozens of trails from access trails suitable for gravel bikes right through to technically difficult black trails and "proline" graded orange trails.

The routes to the north side of Glen Drumtochty road also provide a way of accessing Fetteresso Forest and its mountain bike routes.

None of the trails at Drumtochty are officially sanctioned by Forestry and Land Scotland, therefore they may not be constructed to a standard you expect. Having said that Aberdeenshire Trail Association do sterling work in maintaining trails throughout the forest.

In total you can expect over 50 access road type trails, 16 blue graded trails, 45 red, 24 black and 5 proline trail. And that is before you venture over to Fetteresso.
