how can you give this less than a 10 ,nice bike and the fact that this is prototype from orange bumps up the score for me

nice one

plz rate my ride

pollocks replied... on 5 February 2009

i thought how can you grade a bike lower for the color was a daft thing to do personally as its prsonal choice aint it but hey ho i don't care what anyone thinks its the best ridding bike i have ever ridden including the new empire !!

I think single pivots are getting more than outdated now, but I can't give less than a 10 for a prototype :D

00james replied... on 23 January 2009

Doctor bob rides a carrera from halfords. Ive just changed to a single pivot and there isnt no massive difference

ashley_photog replied... on 21 January 2009

Take no notice of Bobrick, he's a 15 year old kid who think he knows it all.

pollocks replied... on 18 January 2009

oh and as a side note i came from a vpp equiped bike before this and lets just say this has a better lever ratio than my old santa cruz and doesn't go through the travel for fun as this has alot more damping :D

pollocks replied... on 18 January 2009

why so negative about single pivots you say it about all the rest of the singles you rate too ?

its proven and works. its cheaper than a multi link bike that ges through bearings like a diarhea sufferer goes through bog roll and at the end of the day its persaonal prefrence !

and long live the single pivot and am glad orange aint gonna start dabbling with anything other than a bike that has a single pivot for the foreseeable future seen as though i have seen the 225 :D

10 for rarity and history, but give it a clean, and take a better shot of it, it deserves it I think.

pollocks replied... on 18 January 2009

just got back from ridding and cleaned it up the frames spotless as in this picture just raw bikes look a wee poo in that way

going to have a strip down and rebuild once i've been caersws this weekend coming :D
