My '07 Kona Stinky, now with DH spec:
- 7" Kona Stinky Frame w/ Fox Vanilla R
- Rockshox Boxxer WC's
- Avid Code HD Brakes
- Hope Pro II F&R on Funn/Sun descender white rims with black DT Swiss carbon fibre spokes
- 730mm Funn Fatboy triple bars
- Funn RSX Direct-mount DH stem
- Odi Steve Peat grips
- Shimano LX gearing with alimunion 9spd rear cassette with gold shimano chain
- Blackspire DS-x chain device
- Funn DH Camo saddle
I've got a lot more planned including cane creek headset, Kona wah-wah pedals and a Marzocchi Roco rear shock. That or maybe just a new frame lol.

Nice geezer!! i like a stinky..especially a nicely done DH style one Lovely rims, bars and white bits..they go beautifully with the rocker arms on the frame!. nice Atherton grips..REAL DH. :D

Thanks for the rating mate. Yehr the wheels are really, really good. To be honest I was a bit suspect about buying Funn Rims, I didn't know they even made them, then I found out they're actually just Sun MTX's painted different. They're stronger than my previous Sun's, and a hell of a lot lighter.
Pro II's make a bike in my opinion, I am a huge fan of them.

a good sound bike mate good spec and looks pretty sick, i wouldnt get a roco rear shock they are B****** go with a fox DHX4.0 or 5.0
not too keen on boxxers had a bad exp with them
also can you tell me how those brakes are working out for you?

Hiya mate. Sorry you asked how my Avid Code's are on my Kona stinky, only just got the message. To be honest, they're not really worth the money. They have tons of power, more than you could ever want but lack modulation and remind me too much of Hayes brakes (they are either ON or OFF). Don't get me wrong I like them, but they are not worth the money. I'm going to get them re-bled, this time by Avid but after riding somebody's bike who had Shimano Saints, I wish I had got them instead, they were a lot nicer!
Thanks for the advice on the rear shock. Just used a DHX 5, I'm pretty set on that one now :) take care mate

I have a mate who works as a specialist grahpic arstist and he sandblasted and proffestionally sprayed on the red. He did a brilliant job, even up close you'd never know they'd be painted. Cheers for the rating anyway mate.

I'll comment on my own bike becuase it has been literally perfect from the start. Everyone else's has been braking, bits going wrong but this has been flawless and is capable than a lot more than it's price suggests.
