Nice bike.

I am thinking of buying one of these onlinen (2009 model), but am totally confused about whether it actually has 1.5 headtube and what shock it comes with. The website I'm buying from (Chain Reaction Cycles), assures me the spec is OK. DHX air 5.0 and 1.5 heat tube, but I'm sceptical.

Where did you get yours from? Did you copy and paste those specs. Looks like a 1 1/8 head tube in the pic?

Cheers.

and its a bomber 55 (160mm travel).. Its one of those bike model specific versions. Closest model is the Bomber 55 R i believe..... it has rebound adjust and lockout... but the lockout is rather lame. i dont use it anyway.

thanks for the rate man... it is an excellent all round bike, use her for mostly dh and some xc.
the specs do get a bit muddled, its a 1 1/8 head tube.... and its a DHX air 3.0 on the backside... still a perfectly epic shock. I bought mine on Evans Cycles.. copied and pasted sec from there, but changed the shock to what it really is.
havnt seen the need to change anythin yet, just the V8's and minnion front and back. nice spec tbh

Nice looking do it all bike and nice spec.

How are your rims holding out? My rear E540 is damaged after 2 rides. May just be me hammering it on a DH bike tho.

5EAN replied... on 7 January 2010

yeah i have been running this on DH quite a bit, and dented the front rim, not badly tho.... probably my fault as i didnt have my 2.5 on in the front
