Nice spec, but if your not a weight weeny and like solid and chunky then why did you opt for the Specialized FSR? Very good frames, but not what i would call chunky? Just seems like it is a bit of a crisis bike, not sure where its going or what its doing.
Bet you ride the balls off it though! Enjoy!

jac114 replied... on 12 August 2009

I was talking about the stem that was mentioned.. I dont really like the xc style stems.. and when I say weight weeny I am not going to religiously replace all parts for the lightest around to save the extra 1 kg or so.. I by parts I like over weight The only thime i dont ride the balls off it is going up hill..lol just out of interest did you know my mate the foxx has a stumpjumper elite that is lighter than my build..lol

Odd to see a light weight XC frame built up this way but still like it.

jac114 replied... on 13 July 2009

Well if you have a look at my atomlab you will se why its built up this way..lol I will slowly replace the bits on this for more xc style parts and put these back onto the atomlab.. But it does work well (its good to be different..lol)

Love the gold look, but it doesn't all seem to go.
I'd say more gold instead of white in places.
I would have given you a 9 if it weren't for such an impressive spec list!

looks very nice. esp. with the gold bits. but is it me or is there no rear shock fitted in this photo. (apart from the brain system which feeds the shock).

oodboo replied... on 12 July 2009

The brain is attached to the shock, it runs along the length of the seat stay.

jac114 replied... on 1 July 2009

lol forgot to list them.. They are my Gold Hygia Elite brakes rated for AM/FR.. Na I am not a weight weeny.. I like solid and chunky..
