We bring challenging and exciting, long distance off-road cycling routes with a relaxed vibe. Our routes have been well-researched and ridden to include every type of trail imaginable, from byways and bridleways, single and doubletrack, trail centres, Sustrans bike paths, woodland, moorland, urban and much more.

What is the Bristol – Bath 200?

This is a 200 mile MTB/Gravel route that begins in Bath and heads roughly east, before turning south and west in a clockwise direction. It has been created with the purpose of linking some classic off-road riding spots this area offers. For 2026, we are hosting a four day supported event alongside a self-supported bikepacking adventure.

Riding through Somerset, Wiltshire, and Avon, the many highlights will include some of the best off-road biking trails found in the West Country.

You will encounter a huge array of trail gems over the 200 mile distance, taking in bridleways, byways, singletrack, moorland, woodland, urban and some purpose-built MTB trails.

Not only is the riding superb, the views from the likes of Lansdown, Salisbury Plain, Cheddar Gorge and the Avon Gorge are fantastic too.

The events start on the outskirts of Bath and initially head north into the Cotswolds AONB with fine views across the Avon valley. Then it’s a section of bridleways and back lanes to Erlestoke woods for some lush singletrack action – which for many years hosted endurance mountain bike events. The edge of Salisbury Plain is next up as you head towards the stunning Longleat with more singletrack gems before reaching camp 1 for the supported riders.

From here the route will join classic bridleways to traverse the whole length of the Mendip Hills – known for spectacular views and the iconic Cheddar Gorge. There’ll be plenty of steep climbing but you’ll be rewarded for your efforts!

A nice change for the supported riders is we’ll be using the same venue for nights 2 & 3 which means the luxury of only having to pitch your tent once for these nights. We’ve got an awesome spot lined up with great on-site facilities.

Day 3 is a loop out to the seaside and back via more Mendip trails, whilst the final day includes classic Bristol area trails which attract riders to live in the city from all over the UK. From bridleways to purpose-built trail centres and riverside paths, the final day takes in many different scenes.

There are many surprises on this route, ranging from superb technical singletrack, great architecture and a fascinating history.
