Appenninica MTB Parmigiano Reggiano Stage Race

After a successful second edition, Appenninica MTB Stage Race returns with all the ingredients that have thrilled riders and some improvements and novelties. First of all, it will remain an event with a low number of athletes: this is the right way to guarantee the quality of the services, avoid crowded trails and bottlenecks, and enjoy, again, the atmosphere of friendship (like a big family) while feeling at home in the host cities rather than passing tourists.

But the core of Appenninica MTB are the territory and the race course: the trails, the views, the hardness of the stages have amazed and made the participants rave about the past edition. They called it “the real mountain bike”.

The 2021 route consists of seven stages with about 450 km and 15.000 meters of elevation gain. A mix of technical, fun, and tiring routes in an Italian fashion. The 2021 edition is for single riders (Solo) only (no team of two categories).
