The Yorkshire Mountain Bike Marathon 2017 is a mountain bike challenge event that takes place within the stunning 12,000 acres of Birdsall Estate. The route takes in natural terrain including singletrack, forest descents, natural trails and even a medieval village. Taking place at the Birdsall Estates 5 miles from Malton and 15 miles from York you will be provided with an overall time and a photographer capturing the day.

The event has been orgainised between the insghtful knowledge of www.birdsallestates.co.uk and Northern Ride bike shop www.northernride.com . ​Check out our Blog for more about the event, area and different routes. 25km - An exciting, introduction to a mountain bike event featuring singletrack and forest descents.  Approx 25km in distance. 40km - Your first step towards the full marathon, ride the course with a more casual approach featuring more singletrack, natural trails and forest descents than the 25km loop. Approx 40km in distance. 80km - The real deal, big distance with 2 laps of the 40km route; the marathon distance but can you master the trails the second time around?  ​

Entry Includes: Fully marked route Route Timing Event Photography Mechanical Support Emergency Support Sweeper Vehicle Marshals Free Parking Trade Stand All participants under the age of 18 shall have had a consent form (during signing on) completed by their parent/guardian and riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire ride.  An Adult must complete the entry for any participant under 18.
