The Steel Valley Ride is a cycling event launching the Little Don Link multi-user trail in Stocksbridge and the opening of a new bike shop and cafe - Full Gas Bikes.

The funds raised from the event will go to the Steel Valley Project, a countryside management charity- www.steelvalleyproject.org

The ride will be starting and finishing at Full Gas Bikes, located in the new Fox Valley development in the centre of Stocksbridge, on the outskirts of Sheffield.

There are two routes available-

MTB Route 32 miles of technical mountain biking, this route will satisfy your hunger for adventure and the technical descents will leave you feeling stoked.

Family Route 5 miles of off and on road sections, including the new Little Don Link Trail. Suitable for all abilities, although expect to find some hills, this is the Peak District!

The whole route will be clearly signed, marshals will be on course and there will be well stocked feed stations to replenish the energy you'll have burned climbing up the hills!

Bike washing facilities and limited bike hire will be available from Full Gas Bikes, as will a fully stocked cafe. Plenty of other cafes, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants are available close to the event HQ.

There is ample car parking on site and good transport links, with the M1 10 minutes drive away, as well as rail links to Penistone, 4.5 miles from the event HQ.
