About
Fat, slow, used to be good when I was 17. Dreamed of bicycle exotica and now I can afford it, I don't use it as much as I should. I don't subscribe to mountain bike fads. Why do we need 3 sizes of wheel? Why a single ring front? I own 5 bikes ranging from a 1991 GT pantera to a 2015 13 beta. Mostly 26 inch wheels. Only got a 27.5 because it was cheaper than cheap and I don't see the difference. Been riding mtbs since 1992 ish and I got a cannondale Delta v 2000 in 93 so to my mind the biggest leap forward in the last 25 years is suspension - undoubtedly. Then clutched mechs. Love bikes. Hate the industry.
