Sandy Ridge Mountain Biking Trails in Northwest Oregon

Sandy Ridge is a gem of 15 miles of well built and maintained trails on the way from Portland to Mt. Hood. Loops have riders climb the paved road (gated to cars) and descent on singletrack. There are no climbing trails at this time. Sandy holds up well in the rain and can be ridden year-round.

There are trails for all skill levels from green for children and beginners, to double blacks for experts looking for technical descents or big jump lines.

Access

Sandy Ridge main parking requires a $5 daily pass available at the on-site kiosk. Annual pass vouchers are also sold at the kiosk but must be redeemed per instructions. All passes can be purchased through Recreation.gov website or mobile app.
