Mountain biking in Dunkery and Horner woods on the edge of Exmoor offers various mountain bike trails for downhill and cross country riders to explore.
The woods offer plenty of challenging singletrack that can be quite technical in places with plenty of roots and stumps. There are a few little jumps to get some decent air time and a few nice berms too. There are also a few steep descents suitable for more experience riders.
Remember that when riding in Dunkery and Horner woods, do so with consideration to other users and wildlife. Please give way to walkers and horses.

On the A39 heading towards Porlock just after the Hopcott Close junction on the right there is a turning on the left to the Hopcott. Drive all the way up and there is a little car park! Coming from Porlock the turning is at the end of Periton Road on the right hand side.
Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
