Llys Y Fran Trails

The Mountain Bike Trail begins at the visitors centre and follows the 1.5 mile stretch of the family trail. At the first stream crossing the route heads south through the wooded slopes along the edge of the reservoir and includes some steep descents including a zig zag with a challenging loose shale surface and, as always, climbs. The final section beneath the dam has a wicked climb back up to the visitors centre and that well earned cup of tea. If it's been a particularly muddy ride then a bike wash is available behind the visitors centre.
