Vicars Cross Pump Track

Vicars Cross Pump Track is located on Queen's Road Park, near Chester, and is suitable for all levels of ability and all ages.

Built by Clark & Kent Contractors, the Vicars Cross Pump Track, more affectionally called Josh's Jumps, was built in memory of 12-year-old talented cyclist and Christleton High School student Josh Easton who died in October 2008. The all-weather track track is suitable for different types of bicycles, including BMX, mountain bikes, and scooters.

A pump track is a small but intense circuit of rolling bumps, table-top jumps, and bermed corners designed to be ridden continuously without pedaling by using weight shifts (pumping) and gravity. Pump tracks are great for developing skills and improving your technique whether you’re a beginner or an expert.
