Hopton Woods Mountain Bike Trails

Hopton Woods Trail Centre in Shropshire is home to the Pearce XC Loop as well as some outstanding downhill tracks which commonly get used as a race venue.

All the trails at Hopton are largely unsurfaced so the way they ride changes according to the weather and the season.

Trails include a warm-up loop which is short and relatively easy, a blue trail 4.6km in length, the Pearce XC loop aswell as 3 black graded downhill trails.

Pearce XC Trail (Red Grade - 12.6km) 

Pearce XC mountain bike trail in Hopton Wood's is 12.6km route, with sweeping descents, challenging climbs, rocks, roots and mud a fantastic route for experienced riders. In association with Forestry Commission, Pearce Cycles have worked to revamp the cross country trail network in Hopton Woods.
