nice old school build, nothing better than building a bike out of the garage... just about to go to the shed and make my own, might even single-speed it too.

People who slag this bike off are either blind or ignorant..The DMR Trailstar frame is a lovely hardcore HT frame..The paint job, is personal Preferance AND..its obviously just a hack bike..Hacking is what MTBing is about!! Have a 10 beacuse ive just stood up for you alot. Lool :O

Were you planning to make it look like a Giant team bike, or was that an accident?
The chain's a bit slack, the stem is stacked well high and clearance between front tyre and fork must be non exsistant?
But for that price, I'd have done the same!
Good job

looks......Different. Old school trailstar frame, with nuskool paint job. Pretty basic setup, reasonably poor forks and cranks, and no front disc, but there is a caliper???? But it's eyecatching, and 'different'. And i know, yes, its a DMR, but i have a trailstar, and i love it.

i was jus provin we can all be nobs soz mate. don't have a tensioner on the back, i use a half link chain, thats how i can do it wi no tensioner on vertical dropouts. there's no front disc on it there cos at the time i didn't have one. its got hydraulics on it now and as i've regretted the paint since a did it, i'm gonna treat it to a powdercoat.

nathanclements replied... on 26 September 2007

another 1 - y u gt a caliper on the front but no disk??!!

nathanclements replied... on 26 September 2007

quick question do u use a chain tensioner on the rear?

nathanclements replied... on 26 September 2007

u do no i was takin da piss outa ma lil brother :S:S???? AND i acctually paid 4 ma bike ma self - out of my own money, as i have had a job since i was 13 and have only jus turned 16

stetom13 replied... on 25 September 2007

saracen? from halfords? we could all be bike snobs too but some of us actually have to work instead of getting mummy and daddy to fund our hobbies till they buy us our car which we'll go and crash cos a 1.2 corsa is too fast, sob sob.

nathanclements replied... on 25 September 2007
