its a turner rail - like it says under make/model. Turner only made a limited number (100) of these 4x bikes this is one of only 7 brought into the UK.

Nice build. I ran some shermans as well when I had a rail. I don't understand the people rating the frame low as it is one of the best in the world. Turner bikes welding quality is beautiful - only surpassed by Merlin (Titanium bikes - not the Preston bunch though they do build good wheels)

They only made 100 or so of these (10 are in the UK) and as the standard turner decal doesnt fit on the sides of the down tube so they stuck it on the underside (in gold), you just cant make it our in the pic

brfore i sold it i used it for a bit of every thing DJ freeride DH even the ocasional xc ride, which is why i sold it. It was a great bike but too specialised for 4x. It made a great small travel freeride bike though.

currently sub 30lbs, the spinergy wheels and some conti speedking supersonic tyres have saved about 3lbs in all.

thanks for the vote, i'm looking for new forks at the mo - but it means changing my current headset and stem as well (1.5 at the mo) as there only lyriks that would fit the frame (travel wise) and they are 1lb heavier than my shermans.

they are sherman fireflys, the short travel (90-135mm) and light weight version (4.9lbs). and are the 1.5 headtube version. They are also the fork that the frame was originally designed around.....

as its a 4x frame, it doesnt need the minimal advantage a coil shock gives you on small bumps + it saves aome weight. the frame is a love hate thing - it may not be pretty but it sure is great to ride!

he's talking about the fact that the seat post in theory could slip and dent the air shock - the seat post was cut down so this wouldn't happen, and the pic was updated since so you can't see the end of it in the new pic.

its an 04 Turner Rail - costs £1600 new and there were only 6 brought into the country by the importers + it rides like a dream.
