nice bike im doing the same and need to put upgrades on my stp i suggest going for avid juicy 3 brake on the rear its cheap and powerfull,sweet bike though rate mine when i put it on the site

Yeah it looks short but isn't really. I am 5,10 and it fits me perect. 55cm top tube and the wheel base is similar to my XC bike.

I agree with this point of view, although i dislike DJ's forks!

As I am used to Reba's on my Trance the DJs did feel a little odd. I have pumped them up a bit to stiffen them and they are OK.
