Frame Saracen X-ile
* Alloy compound formed and welded frame is 56.5cm top tube, 34cm from ground to BB centre unweighted, loads of clearance.
* SR Suntour XCT28 - 100 forks with modified springs, bump and rebound stops. Modified slider bushes with HD waterproof grease, 2 preload adjusters.
* 730mm riser bars with Easton lock on grips, stem is 70mm long, FSA headset - sealed bearings.
* Bontrager gel saddle, 30.4 dia seatpost 315mm long.
* Shimano Saint Transition hollowtech cranks, DMR V8 pedals, Hollowtech BB.
* Uberbike 'made in Sheffield' ovalized 32t narrow-wide chainring.
* Shimano 10 speed cassette with 42t E-Thirteen alloy ring, Deore 10 sp rear mech.
* Avid Elixir brakeset.
* WTB 650b i21 rims on Shimano hubs.
* Maxxis Crossmark front 27.5 x 2.1, tubular.
* Michelin Wild Racer rear 27.5 x 2.25, tubular.
Total bike weight is around 15kg, about 33lb.

Frame has been modified with top tube drilled for internal cable routing. Parallel head tube 130mm long.
Saracen frames (in my opinion) were advanced for their time and very strong with modern geometry. Unfortunately they were sold with rubbish components to keep prices low and that destroyed the company.
