the new addition is my specialized big hit 3.
spec as follows:
a1 enhanced aluminium frame,
marzocchi bomber 888 vf2 (italian) front shock,
fox dhx 3.0 rear shock,
hope mono m4 4pot all round,
xt shifter and rear mech,
shimano saint crankset with recoil chain device and xpedo dh pedals,
sunline stem with sunline v2/os bars and intense lock-on grips,
hope hubs on atomlab rims and hope rear q/r,
titec scoper seat stem with hope q/r and azonic dh seat.

Nice I had those same forks bit soft I found even with the hard springs. I used to get a harsh bottom out sometimes that I couldn't avoid.

Strangely it wasn't that big! the forks had done bigger I think they might have been cold or something. It was straight off the uplift at cwmcarn on the first drop. I landed ok but I felt the forks go. I knew something was wrong and stopped. I thought it was brake fluid leaking at first. Random occurrence I think I've never been able to find another set thats broken like that. Quite proud really lol.

just had a look. f@*k me that must of been a good drop. im not as hard as rider as you yet mate, a long way to go yet so they should be ok for now lol.

thanks for the rating. not had a problem with the forks yet. im 13 stone and them seem to take anything at the moment.
