Great setup mate. How do you find the eggbeaters, I've got the larger Shimano spd for dummies? Good choice in rims lol.

The Eggbeaters are fantastic. I've had Bontrager RX and Shimano DX but the Eggbeaters knock them into a cocked hat. The access from four sides makes them very easy to engage..........though I've just got new shoes and the cleat position's slightly different so it's like riding with SPD's for the first time all over again! :)

Thanks! I kinda know what you mean. It was either one of these, or a Nicolai Helius. I've been a staunch hardtailer for over 12 years so this was the natural choice for me.....the idea of adjustable travel was just too "new age" for me! The colour sold it to me too but it handles and responds like a hardtail, it's truly amazing!
