I first look at the norcos several years but I wasn't won over but have umd n ard I finally found a frame to build from and I am kicking myself that I didn't buy one earlier!!! It rides like a monster and flattens everything. Ok it is heavy but it is built DH

he's 15 now, he'll come back to it soon i reckon. hoping to get the wife out once this bloody rain stops, where she hasnt been for a while now its hard to get her motivated and out. if she dont use her bike soon i may have to upgrade a few parts and steel it for myself. not much left to upgrade on the norco so could do with another little project and i reckon it could make an excellent little hard tail

Just tried to upload his bike pic but the nugget has changed his password and now forgotten it. God they are soooooo clever and that age.
Thinking of starting him into the race scene when we get back from the Alps to give him something to possibly divert his attentions away from the attractions through his later teens. His girlfriend always comes second best to DH at the moment so can but hope.
How old is your lad again.

Yes took it out the weekend just gone and loved it. Come off first time down as had a problem with my brakes and didnt relise i had got fluid on the disc as didn't finish building till the wee hours so glased the pads but new ones fitted and it flew down!!!!
Just built my 14 yr old son an Atomik version at the same time, exactly the same but 8" and he loves that as well so defo gettin a Norco Sticker for the car now!!! lol

I have just built this from the frame up and love it!!!!
It flattens everything and is awesome to ride.
The 9" travel soaks everything and handles like it is on rails.
I can't wait to flatten the Alps with it!!!!
Ok it is heavy but my god it is strong and so planted.

My God i am sooooooo glad i built this for the Alps... It was awesome and just went as fast as hell and never felt out of control or place (once i had changed the tyre).
