Something about it just looks wrong. Not sure what it is, maybe the seat appears to be too far back over the back wheel or it could be the angle of the bars in this pic, not sure but it doesn't look right to me. But if you're happy with it then keep on riding dude.

There are better pics in me gallery of the bike as it is now with all the white and new parts on her. SHe rides really well and handles like a dream.

i bet you can embarass a lot of people on that mate.........high spec or what, the frame needs better decals or sumit else to break it up tho

Stormus55 replied... on 13 March 2011

Cheers mate, I've designed a set of graphics for the bike, and the idea is to respray the frame n swingarm to match the forks. I have embarresed a lot of people when out ridin on the road n on 'shakedown' rides.

Cant believe how good a spec it is for that frame!
Hows it ride with all the gear on it?

Stormus55 replied... on 10 March 2011

Rear tyre is a Duro Leopard, and the pedals are Crank Bros 50/50s

Stormus55 replied... on 10 March 2011

XC and Enduro, I've taken the bike over some heavy terrain, so should stand upto the hammering without too many probs. The weight has halved since I done the mods to the bike. Handles sweetly too!

Race it!? XC?
Will the frame stand up to the hammering? Looks heavy too :)
Im impressed with it though!

Well, it rides like a dream and I am goin to hopefully be racing with it soon. It started out as a normal Raleigh Transient, then I got bored and decided to build it how I feel Raleigh should be building thier bikes, and this is the end result. I still got to respray the frame and swingarm to match the forks (which I done and overhauled myself)
