i had a look around the garage and shed to see what i could find to build a 'road' MTB (last update 12-05-2011 new photo)
frame - lee cooper custom XC frame (already had)
forks - no name steel rigid (el cheapo off ebay)
wheels - specialized alex things off my wife's hardrock after she got some superstar hoops
tyres - schwalbe city jet 1.5
cranks - suntour something or other from my wife's hardrock after she upgraded
pedals - wellgo M151
BB - another hardrock cast-off
chainring - octane 38T
chain - SRAM something
cassette - n/a DMR 16T singlespeed
tensioner - DMR SIS
brakes - ancient shimano LX Vs
levers - shimano DX (probably best levers i've ever used)
headset - 1" threaded with 1.25" aheadset adaptor
stem - da bomb 90mm
bars - raceface evolve
grips - nc17 lock-ons with 24seven end caps
bar ends - x-lite enduro ski
seatpost - identiti t-4
saddle - WTB shadow
