I had this bike when it first came out and despite it weighing a tone and the forks (Manitou's Stance Kingpin) seals going pop on the first decent hit- I loved this bike. The VPS suspension worked great and it and with a few tweaks to OG spec (bad cable brakes/naff forks)- it makes for a bombproof hucker. Have a look at my photos and and you can see my Savage in action back in 2004.
