i have one of these and i do everything with it, downhill/all mountain/ free ride/dirt jumps and tbh it can take alot of it. for the price these bikes are awesome, but replace the forks theyre aweful

as has already been said, it looks pretty good for a carrera..
the white rims and conti tyres look smart..
a shorter stem won't make a lot of difference but it might make you feel a bit happier about trying stuff. the bike is long and low coz it's a xc bike, but it'll be fine for small drops + jumps. I wouldn't go shorter than 60mm on that.. think there's a white Truvativ AKA stem with a 25.4 std clamp on chainreactioncycles.com ....
