sweet ride. did you change rear susp or still running on specialized shox? i service my already 3 times specialized does great bikes but shox are not so good.

Sadly, one of my pet hates is mud guards on posh bikes..
Plus that rear guard will take someones face off if they crash into the back of you!!

hey I know what you mean about guards on bikes but we use the new crud catchers and they are soft and flexible; but more to the point ya not covered in shite when you get back to the car. lol

Not bad. I've recently got DMR v12 pedals & a pair of five-ten impact shoes. My feet haven't slipped since even in the muddiest conditions.

cheers for that... I have also got the v12s but cannondale shoes. I'm a big fan of five-ten tho' (I'm a climber too) so might try some.

yep, sweet bike... :) Do you ride spds or flats? I ride flats but after the fox and my feet nearly coming off several times i'm wondering whether to go back to spds!

Not ridden the old ones; I know that the 2007 had probs and that was why I waited ;)
I'm very happy with it though. Did the ride down to Hawkshead from the top of Claife Heights and the Fox yesterday and I'm still in one piece! Shaken but not stirred!
