Loving it, I like recycled bikes made up this way, infact I'm doing it now, and have put togeather a few bikes this way in the past.

ah, the recycled roadie! Maybe put some bontranger carbon forks on it? Well done for reducing your carbon footprint! Greenpeace will be chuffed!

Hmmm... I'm torn...

A nice looking well spec'd Saracen... something is very wrong here!
(kidding)

Lovely looking recycled cycle. One for riders rather than posers! I could be tempted to build up something like that. Have a ten for a sensible ride... i bet the bike snobs will be around soon to knock it though!

This is my recycled Roadie bike used to just get me out and about when the trails are no good.
Using a mixture of parts from my old Saracen Trax something and my Scott Super America to make a hybrid style get-around. Highlights are old skool Shimano XT levers and shifter, rear mech, cranks and hubs with Mavic rims, Bontrager race stem and Carbon bars to take the sting out of the Michelin slick tyres pumped up to 60psi. Saddle is a comfy BodyFit. SPD pedals make grinding out the miles easier. It's a good way of keeping fit and using stuff that would either go in the bin or on Ebay. Highly recommend more MTBers recycling their old kit this way.
