It’s that time of year again we're looking for enthusiastic and passionate riders to work as guides this coming summer season (May – October).
We operate from a unique riders’ centre located in the mtb mecca that is Whistler, BC (which has to be experienced to be believed!) and provide a whole range of fully guided and catered riding holidays which include XC, All-Mountain, Freeride and Downhill options alongside our legendary backcountry floatplane and Heli-drop adventures.
We are looking to fill the following 4 guide positions:
- Lead Guide: Freeride
- Lead Guide: All-Mountain/Technical Singletrack
- Support/Tail Guides: x2
Ideally all applicants should have the following experience/qualifications:
- The Scottish TCL/MBL award (or similar)
- Experience of guiding groups of up to 6 riders of varying ability levels
- A valid 8 hr first aid certificate
- A current clean drivers licence
- Good bike/mechanical repair knowledge
- Ideally some experience of coaching/instruction
Alongside the above, all of our guides need to be great communicators and motivators with the ability to work well in a busy team environment and maintain high spirits (even when faced with a grizzly!)
You will also be required to organise a Canadian working visa which can be obtained though Bunac.

Australian gravity and street rider Craig Woodhead, also known as "Woody" to many, has recently signed to represent CHUMBA Racing in their 2006 factory racing effort.
Woody’s background in personal fitness training, street riding and competition in the UCI world cups, Norba National, and Australian Nationals gives him an extensive base that is highly regarded to in the MTB industry. Look for Woody to compete aboard his CHUMBA Racing F4 in select UCI, NORBA, and special events across the U.S. and Canada in the 2006 season.

Again in '06, the Kona Les Gets Factory Team will be winning aboard Kona's lightweight, durable and purpose built bikes, ranging from Barel and Moseley's World Championship winning Stab Supreme downhill bike, Tatarkovic on the new Howler 4X bike, to the King Supreme and Kula Supreme XC race rockets, for Trebon and Wicks.

SRAM is glad to continue the relationship with Jeff Lenosky. Jeff will continue to ride SRAM, RockShox, Avid and Truvativ product for the next two years.
Lenosky will focus on Freeride and SpeedTrials events. Jeff will also attend key events like the Teva games in Vail. Jeff also continues to hone his skills as an event organizer as he is the head honcho of the annual ‘Links Jump Jam’.
