As reported last week mountain biking in the North of Scotland is shifting up a gear with the opening of a new mountain bike trail in Golspie, Sutherland. Here is the press release from the Forestry commission up the new trails.

Everything maybe getting very frosty and damn cold, but this has not stopped progress up on the Haldon. The building at Haldon is shifting into a new gear. They have started adding some new shore to the Freeride Trail. All the building from here on in will be constructed with Western Red Cedar, split by hand using traditional methods wherever possible.

To celebrate our 20th birthday we have produced a small number of Special Edition RC36 Stealth forks. The forks will be coil sprung and will feature 2007 carbon hollowform sliders, as well as an open bath damping system, external rebound adjustment, hardened chromo/steel stanchions and an updated lockout with blow-off valve.
