The first set of Carron trails opened early last year, and they are about to officially open the next set of trails and unveil the exciting plans for the next phase of development. To celebrate, there will be the inaugural Carron Valley BikeFest on May 12th this year.

With the torrential rain of Saturday taking a break today we we're treated to some of the weather we expected from sunny California. The downhill course soon dried out to offer a fast, exciting if not a little pedally, race.

Last weekend the Vienna Air King took place for the second time since 2006. The numerous spectators that found themselves in front of a picturesque background looking into a blue sky saw more than the sun: riders were throwing down barrel roles, 720s and backflip turndowns.

The Santa Cruz Syndicate riders had a terrific outing at the Sea Otter Classic with a podium result for each event they entered. Leading the way was Nathan Rennie smoking the international downhill field by 2 seconds.
