L'Échappée is a self-supported gravel ultra from Paris to London, running 22–25 May 2027. Approximately 550 km connects the Vélodrome Jacques Anquetil in Paris with Herne Hill Velodrome in London, through Picardy, Kent and the North Downs.
The Channel crossing from Boulogne-sur-Mer to Dover is under sail with SailLink and is included in entry. Time at sea is neutralised; French and British riding times are combined for results.
Limited to 24 riders. Entry is £250, plus a £150 refundable tracker deposit. Includes the GPX route, SailLink crossing, individual GPS tracker, live tracking map, digital rider guide and pre-event briefing. Riders arrange their own food, accommodation and travel to Paris.
For experienced gravel riders and bikepackers comfortable with long distances, self-navigation and overnight riding. Full route and climbing details will be confirmed after the recce. Entries close 21 April 2027 or when full.
