Wellington Pump Track Official Opening 2026

Wellington Pump Track will celebrate its official opening on Saturday 26 September 2026, with an afternoon of riding, demonstrations and activities at Wellington Recreation Ground.

Taking place from 10am until 2pm, the opening event will give the local community a chance to celebrate the new pump track, which opened for riding earlier in September following a successful safety inspection.

Visitors can expect riding demonstrations, stalls, food and activities throughout the event, with riders also able to get out on the new track themselves.

Anyone planning to ride should bring and wear appropriate protective equipment. Riders are also asked to walk their bikes across the recreation field when accessing the pump track.

An official photographer will be at the event capturing the opening celebrations and action on the track.
