The Dusty Gravelier is a gravel sportive with a twist, we are giving it a multi stage feel by timing some sections of the route. This means although it is a sportive event you can battle it out on these sections to go for stage wins. Of course if you just want to ride the whole course at your own pace then that is also fine. The idea is to make the event appeal to both racers and recreational cyclists both. 

Starting from Ashcombe village hall you will cover you choice of either 65 or 35 miles around the surrounding area taking in forests, fire roads, green lanes, single track, and a plethora of countryside beauty.

* PLEASE NOTE THAT AT THIS EARLY STAGE THESE DISTANCES ARE APPROXIMATE UNTIL FULLY PERMISSION IS GRANTED INTO SOME AREAS.

Both distances will challenge your fitness due to the undulating hills that surround the venue but these will be rewarded with lots of flowing fireroads and country lanes, of course the obligatory feed stops along the way will keep you fuelled throughthe event. 

We will  be starting riders off in small waves from 9am and it really doesnt matter which length ride you are doing as the first few miles are all shared in between both courses.

You are welcome to ride whatever bike you like although e-bikes will not be eligable for any timed stages, the course is suited to gravel/xc bikes and covers lots of off road sections so please be mindful of that before entering.
