Glenlivet Mini-DH

The Glenlivet Mini-DH is a Downhill Race on a short course for younger riders aged 8 to 16 being hosted by Deeside Thistle Cycling Club.

The race aims to provide an introduction to downhill racing as well as being challenging for more experienced riders.

There will be no uplift.  Return to the top of the course must be done solely by the riders walking or riding (no towing by e-bikes or other assistance is allowed to make it fair for all riders)

Any technical features that cannot be rolled will have both “A” & “B” lines. The “A” line will be the harder main line and “B” line will be the alternative.

The race will be run under British Cycling and Scottish Cycling Rules and the Mountain Bike Downhill specific regulations.

Age categories for both Open & Female will be as follows:

Under 16/Youth (Year of birth 2009 & 2010)

Under 14/Juvenile (Year of birth 2011 & 2012)

Under 12 (Year of birth 2013 & 2014)

Under 10 (Year of birth 2015 & 2016)

Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd will be awarded.
