Calling all mountain bikers! After the success of last year's Frosty Woods Trail Run, we’re thrilled to expand the adventure to include you. It’s time to cap off your season with some adrenaline-pumping, late-season racing.

Why ride?

Shake off those post-Thanksgiving calories with a thrilling ride through the crisp, frosty woods of Ringwood State Park. The course is designed to challenge your skills while giving you the perfect mix of fun and competition.

December riding in New Jersey? Absolutely! With the shifting weather patterns, early December now offers fantastic, fast conditions for mountain biking—cold enough to keep you cool, but not too icy to stop you from tearing up the trails.

Whether you're looking to set a personal record or simply enjoy one last race before the year ends, Frosty Woods MTB is where you want to be. Don’t miss your chance to ride, race, and celebrate the season in style!

Endurance Race

Racers will do as many loops as possible within 3 hours. If a rider reachs the Finish arch prior to the 3 hour mark they can head out for one last lap. Winner will be determined by whoever does the most laps fastest.

Double Shot Race

Here's the kinder somewhat gentler version of the Frosty race. Racers will do two laps of the course and winner determined by fastest time.

Single Shot Race

By popular demand we've added this special one lap race. Perfect for fitting in your training plan or making it your 1st MTB Race!

USA Cycling

Event is permitted by USA Cycling as a fun ride. So USA Cycling licenses are NOT required. Of course if you have an annual license or purchase the $15 one day license you'll get all of the USA Cycling benefits. Results will be for bragging rights and not submitte dto USA Cycling.

Podiums & Post Race Party

We'll have podiums with medals, raffle prizes plus post race food & drinks.
