The Black Isle Mountain Bike Club Downhill Race is a short course aimed at younger riders aged between 8 to 16 years old.

All technical features that cannot be rolled will have an option of an “A” and “B” line. The “A” line will be the harder main line and “B” line will be the easier alternative.

The race will be run under British and Scottish Cycling rules and the Mountain Bike Downhill specific regulations.

Age categories for riders are as follows:

• Under 16/Youth (Year of birth 2008 & 2009)
• Under 14/Juvenile (Year of birth 2010 & 2011)
• Under 12 (Year of birth 2012 & 2013)
• Under 10 (Year of birth 2014 & 2015)
