This year's Welsh Cross Country Mountain Bike Series Round 3 will take place on Sunday, 19th May at One Giant Leap hosted by the Fibrax Fenwick's Wrexham Cycling Club supported by Welsh Cycling.
Cross Country Mountain Bike racing is off-road cycle racing which takes place in a variety of off-road venues. Mountain Bike racing is often held in parkland, woodland, and forestry sites. These venues are designed to include climbs, decent and other technical features.
Anyone can enter no matter what their age, ability or bike. Provided they have a helmet, and their bike is in good working order. There is a category for everyone and separate races for younger riders. Round Podium/prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category.
Events are organised by local cycling clubs with the support of Welsh Cycling. Taking place across Wales at weekends throughout March to July. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and included courses that are well-planned and safe.

Llangollen downhill mountain bike trails in North Wales are built to test even the most skilled riders and can only be ridden by One Giant Leap club members.

This year's Welsh Cross Country Mountain Bike Series Round 4 will take place on Sunday, 23nd June at Forest of Dean hosted by the Cwmcarn Paragons & Pedalabikeaway supported by Welsh Cycling.
This year's Welsh Cross Country Mountain Bike Series Round 5 will take place on Sunday, 7th July just utside of the Mid Wales town of Llanidloes hosted by Hafren CC supported by Welsh Cycling.
