Ladies Gravity Skills Camp

What is it? A weekend of female only, coaching, info sharing, riding, uplift and generally messing about on our bikes!

Where is it? We will be based at One Giant Leap in Llangollen North Wales.

We will be using our own private Skills Area and some of the DH tracks for the weekend as well as having more natural rides in the local area too. The site is just 15min from the Coed Llandegla trail centre too if you want to drop your male partners off so they can keep out of the way!

What is on offer? Sign up for skills coaching sessions from top riders and coaches Ally & Bob Campbell and World Cup riders Helen Gaskell and Sarah Newman will be on hand to help you out. there will be sessions on:

Smoother cornering
Pumping & Manuals
Bunny Hop 101
Intro to Drops
Advanced cornering
DH skills
Jumping improvers
Bigger Drops
Racing Skills

Also on offer on Sunday ‘ladies only’ uplift on the famous Onegiant Leap tracks, come and try your hand at riding these steep and fun tracks but without the worry of lots of male riders about the place. Ride at your own pace under no pressure! There will also be more coaching, Bike Maintenance and a First Aid for mountain bikers sessions on Sunday too for those feeling not quite ready for the OGL tracks yet.

You can sign up for as much or as little as you want. There will be camping (van or tent) bike wash and toilets on site or there is plenty of accommodation in Llangollen if you would rather not camp. There will also be a BBQ on the Saturday night.

Osprey Packs will be there and giving away Prizes on Sunday.

Price is £150 per person inclusive of all the above.

If you just want to do the uplift on Sunday its £25 per person but this will only be on a fill up basis as people booked on the whole weekend will be given priority.
