The Glentress Seven is now Scotland’s most popular MTB endurance event – a great day’s riding and racing for everyone, with the emphasis on great trails and a friendly, fun atmosphere.
The 11km (approx.) course features some nice climbs, fantastic singletrack, great descents and a whole lot of fun – you can go as hard, or easy, as you like. The main descent is a total classic and not open for riding the rest of the year. Ride solo or in teams of two or three, the most laps in seven hours wins. Weirdly, some people think there seems to be more downhill than uphill on the course, though nobody’s been heard to say that kind of thing towards the end of the seven hours.
New for this year – a limited number of camping spots for vans or tents will be available next to the parking field.
