SMBC Retro Bike Ride and Barbeque

Have you got a love of mountain bikes from years gone by? Would you like to dust off your old steed and give it a run out with like minded folks? Are you a modern day biker and curious as to how a 25 year old bike would fare in a modern trail centre setting? Just like a BBQ and something a bit different?

You need the SMBC and Ride Retro MTB inaugural Retro Bike Ride and BBQ! Held at Comrie Croft Bike Trails, held on Tuesday 8th August, this is a fun friendly meet up for anyone who would like to join us.

Don’t worry if you dont have an older bike, Ride Retro MTB will be there with around a dozen bikes for you to try out. We know there are lots of folk out there who have soft spot for the glorious bikes from the early (some may say Heydays) of mountain biking, so of course bring your own ageing steed or coveted rebuild.

The only criteria is that your mountain bike is pre 2000 and you bring some sausages and beer if you like/

Kick off is 7pm, with a bike ride on some suitable trails, with plenty of time to natter and talk bikes with a BBQ after the rideout.
