What is The Eliminator? - The Eliminator is the most chilled-out, family-friendly Mountain Bike event you’ll encounter anywhere.

The venue - Parkhill Farm, Newburgh, Fife. Just over an hour from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, Parkhill is a fully-working farm, but for one weekend each Summer the sheep head off on their holidays, the fences come down, the track is re-instated and the bar is stocked to let us crank-up the fun-o-meter to maximum!

We've got on-site camping, breath-taking views, licenced bar, trade village, Kids "Hot Lap" Challenge, Balance Bike coaching and racing, MTB demo day, open track with uplift, beers, dancing in a field, chilling-out at camp and electrifying Head2head MTB racing.

The Head2Head – Downhillers, XC Whippets and Weekend Warriors go head2head on a super-fun dual-track suitable for any MTB – and nobody has to ride up a single hill for the whole weekend as it's fully-uplifted! This might seem a bit odd at first if you're rocking a Carbon 29er and Lycra but trust us, your guilt will turn to whoops of joy on your seventh run down this course!

Section1 (The Bear) – The track kicks-off with a flat-out dual-width, grassy slalom where you can reach silly speeds on the straights and try to beat your opponent into the next bend. You can hit some big wooden kickers if you like or take a slightly slower route to avoid them. Smaller bikes usually do well on this section with that extra boost of acceleration out of the bends and Downhillers may be puffing to keep up…..until Section 2…..

Section 2 (Fairmer's Forest) – The course splits onto two separate ribbons of singletrack as it reaches the woods and it's time for the full-suss riders to claw some time back. The light changes and it feels like warp speed between the trees after the first section, but who will reach the gully first? You won't know until you get there and before you know it you're spat through the event village at full-pelt as people cheer and the tunes pump! You hit the (optional) road gap into Section 3….

Section 3 (Crazy Crops) – The course finishes with a crazy Dual-Slalom cut into a fully-ripened Barley field, you're adrenaline is pumping, your lungs are burning and you're in a sprint to the finish line. Grip is low, fun is high and the stakes are higher, but who will be Eliminated at the finish line and who will go through to the next round?
