We recently received in store some new Dakine 2011 kit. Dakine produce some of the best kit in the market and we are absolutely hooked on it! First up we are going to take a look at some of their gloves for 2011.
Highwire Glove:
Designed to be extremely comfortable the Dakine Highwire glove has many features that make it one of the best gloves out there! Neoprene across the knuckles allows for exceptional movement and a pad-less palm lets the rider feel direct contact with the bar, allowing a great, hands on feeling when riding! They also feature a great synthetic suede fabric on the side of the thumb to wipe any of unwanted excess off your face. Along with a tidy velcro strap and silicone grip on top on the finger tips (great in the wet) these make for one sweet pair of gloves!
RRP: £23.99
Cross X Glove:
The Cross X is the glove that started it all for Dakine and is still leading with its comfortable fit and bomber construction (a personal favourite of mine, think I own 3 pairs!). Similar to the Highwire glove but features thicker knuckle protection and palm padding underneath. But still features Dakines signature silicone grip on the finger tips as well as the synthetic suede fabric on the thumbs. A very good all round glove that feels great but has a little bit more protection if you prefer.
RRP: £29.99
Covert Glove:
Designed for the true minimalist, the Covert is a slip on style without padding on the palm for the ultimate direct bar feel. The design might be minimal but there wasn't any skipping when it came to designing a glove with solid construction and durable materials. A fantastic glove for cross country riding as it is so light and and easy to wear. Also very practical with the silicone grip on the finger tips and synthetic suede fabric on the thumbs. Girls version also available.
RRP: £19.99
Sentinel Glove:
The Sentinel is one of Dakine's higher end gloves that merges stretch materials with the flexibility of d3o armour for a glove that eases pain in connecting with solid objects without compromising comfort. Along with that you recieve Dakine's silicone finger tip grips, the synthetic suede fabric on the thumbs and palm protection for the ultimate comfort on your bars. Designed with more of the hard hitting riders in mind, this glove won't let you down on the trails.
RRP: £39.99
Check back tomorrow when we will be having a closer look at Dakine's latest back packs.
