Building on the success of the last two years, the 2018 edition promises another weekend of epic proportions with something for everyone.
Once again, the headline events will be Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF), the Climbing Works International Festival (CWIF), Howard Street Dual and The Magnificent Seven hill climb challenge, alongside a diverse range of fringe activity.
The Weekender is Sheffield’s celebration of the people and places that give us our unique identity as The Outdoor City.

Matt Heason, director of Sheffield Adventure Film Festival said: “If you are into the outdoors or are just starting to discover its benefits, never has there been a better time to live in Sheffield.
“In the past two years, the city has gained new run routes and mountain biking trails, and a dedicated festival showcasing the people and places that make Sheffield more than worthy of the title of ‘The Outdoor City’.
