After the recent news that the WideOpen Mag Team have signed Scottish Enduro ripper Mark Scott to pilot a Nukeproof Mega Am 275 for the 2014 season, Nukeproof are pleased to announce the signing of Irish rider Greg Callaghan to ride for the Nukeproof Factory Enduro Team for 2014.

Nukeproof - Greg Callaghan

After a great 2013 season, Greg joins Nukeproof with some serious results under his belt both on the national and international Enduro race circuit. Racing on the new Nukeproof Mega AM 275, Greg will be attending the Gravity Enduro Series in Ireland, the UK Gravity Enduro Series and most of the Enduro World Series for 2014.

“I'm really looking forward to the year ahead working with all the guys at Nukeproof. Being able to work with such a big brand that is based in the UK is also pretty special, having that close to home feel is something not many people get the opportunity to experience and I can't wait to start working closely with the brand. The company is full of cool people who just love riding bikes and they have given me an amazing set up to achieve my goals for 2014. I can't wait to see what lies ahead for everyone involved, I have a feeling 2014 will be a big year!”

Ali Beckett, Nukeproof Brand Manager had this to say;

“I am thrilled to have Greg come onboard and begin working with us here at Nukeproof. I have known Greg for a number of years now and followed him through the scene in Ireland and across the UK. His explosion onto the Enduro scene and in particular last year’s performance at the Enduro World Series has really impressed me and after riding with Greg earlier this winter, I saw for myself the raw talent and power that he can put down at a race. We will be working closely with Greg as we develop our range of bikes and components, and I feel that his knowledge and experience will be a huge benefit to our development team. It’s just a bonus that he thrives off a good cup of Irish tea!"

Greg will be clothed in iXS apparel for the season and will also be wearing the awesome new Trail RS helmet. He will also be supported with WTB tyres, riding on Team Issue Vigilantes and Wardens as race conditions best suit.
